About Kansas (0-0): The Jayhawks have won 43 consecutive regular-season home openers dating to the 1973-74 season. … Kansas is 1-0 all-time against Tennessee State. The Jayhawks defeated the Tigers 89-54 on Nov. 21, 2006, in Allen Fieldhouse. The contest was a campus game of the Las Vegas Invitational, an event KU won with victories over Ball State and then-No. 1 Florida. Sherron Collins led all scorers with 19 points, while Brandon Rush and Julian Wright had 14 points apiece and Darrell Arthur 10 in the game against Tennessee State. … Kansas has faced nine of the 12 Ohio Valley Conference teams and has a combined record of 20-0 against the league. … KU is 757-110 in Allen Fieldhouse with a 220-10 mark under Bill Self.
